Rachel and Tyler met in school at Vanderbilt. They’re amazing dancers, Disney fanatics, and so very much in love. I was able to shoot their gorgeous wedding day at a hidden gem of a venue in Lakewood, and alongside the amazing Julia.
Trying to find the venue was a bit confusing. I kept doing circles around the block, thinking my GPS must be off. I finally noticed the small sign that said Baldoria on the Water, and knew I was in the right spot. Spoiler alert: it’s right next door to Chipotle.
Regardless of the surprising location, this venue is INCREDIBLE. The staff told me that it was a Marie Callender’s restaurant in the past. It has an old, beautiful, castle-like feeling inside. Some areas have skylights lined with ivy. The ceremony site overlooks a small pond with a fountain (and some slightly aggressive Canada geese that just wanted to protect their babies). The venue was a perfect location for the Princess and her Prince.
